This couple gives me (Philip) those warm and fuzzy feelings.  Liz shared a little of their story with us and it just makes us so happy.

Anthony and I (Liz) met in Charleston after my best friend and MOH met him first, and decided we were meant to be…clearly she knew us both really well! We clicked right away since we both work with kids (he’s a teacher and I’m a youth & family social worker) and share the love of good food & wine, the outdoors, music, books – all the important things in life! Our relationship has been full of laughs and fun together. We got engaged in Charleston last April with family and friends present, and we knew right away that we wanted our big day to be elegant but laid back and simple as well. Charleston is where we built our life together so we wanted the gorgeous scenery to do most of the work! We picked Cottage on the Creek because of the spectacular Shem Creek views, versatile space, and intimate interior layout. From there, our priorities were to make sure our loved ones could kick back and have as good of a time as we planned to! I chose an ivory, gold and blush color palette because it felt light and airy within the venue space and really seemed to emphasize the feeling of Spring, which also happens to be our favorite time of year here. With help from our fabulous vendors and little DIY details, the rest easily fell into place.
