Jenna & Justin’s COVID-19 Micro Wedding

Philip Casey Photography

Jenna & Justin had no choice but to postpone their wedding celebration when COVID decided to ruin the day. They were so eager to get married that they decided to hold a micro wedding now, in addition to their big wedding later this December.

This wedding was stripped down to the bare essentials, yet it’s still overflowing with love and emotions. The tear dripping from Justin’s eye as he sees his bride walk down the aisle says it all.

I photograph weddings because of moments like this: natural, honest moments. I get to document all of these priceless moments for my couples. In a way, they become part of my own memories too.

This is the perfect wedding to include in my portfolio because it captures the essence of what a wedding is at its core and why it’s important to capture. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Here is the wedding from the beginning…

“I am so, so thankful that we found Philip. He’s extremely talented and so lovely to work with. When our wedding was impacted by COVID, Philip was very flexible. During a stressful time, he was a breath of fresh air. The pictures he took of our intimate wedding were STUNNING and I can’t wait to see what he does at our larger reception scheduled for later this year. He has an eye for detail and genuine moments. He’s also a calming presence, which is much appreciated on the big day 🙂 We plan to use Philip for all of our family photography in the future!” – Jenna
