Operation Home

Operation Home has been serving the Tri-county community for 24 years. Annually, they serve more than 550 families through critical home repair, wheelchair ramp, and heat and cold relief programs. Operation Home focuses its services on households with children, the disabled, and seniors. The average monthly income for Operation Home families is $1,298. Operation Home collaborates with many area nonprofits, home rehabilitation facilities, social service agencies, and civic and religious groups. Operation Home is committed to ensuring that no person has to live in an inaccessible or unsafe home.

My role was to photograph a few roof replacements they were doing. I wanted to capture the volunteers working tirelessly to serve the families in need. I hope to spread the word and get more people involved in this and other outreach programs. Visit OperationHome.org to learn more.
